“I dont know if I will succeed, but I hope the paintings provide some sense of peace in current chaotic times. The paintings themselves are voulnerable and can only be viewed with love. (…) The pandemic has created a new situation in our existensialist values: mortality and fragility of life have become a headline news daily, along with news from the hospitals. Even for the most consumer oriented societies this should signal the necessity of new value systems. The medium for this can be either word or painting, depending on the individual.“
